Meet Headhunter on ClassCover Jobs

Coming Soon: Headhunter—A New Way to Find Job Opportunities

Your ClassCover Teacher Profile can do so much more than connect you with schools for casual bookings. Headhunter is a soon-to-be-released feature designed to help you thrive throughout your education career.

Use ClassCover Jobs to find your next role

While many teachers use ClassCover to connect with schools for casual teaching, there’s so much more on offer. Your Teacher Profile is designed to support you throughout your career, matching you with great new full-time and part-time roles on our job board, ClassCover Jobs

If you accept a contract or permanent position and don’t want to be contacted by schools for casual bookings, you can turn off bookings from your Teacher Profile. This will put your profile on pause so you cannot be booked for casual work but retain your access to ClassCover Jobs to browse open roles and ClassCover Learn to maintain your professional development.

Now, here’s an introduction to an upcoming new feature designed to make hunting for a new role in education easier than ever, Headhunter.

What is Headhunter?

Headhunter is a soon-to-be-released feature in ClassCover Jobs. Using the information on your Teacher Profile, Headhunter does the matching, recommending you to job posters with active roles that you could be a great fit for. Information is matched through location, year levels, subjects and your job alert settings. When we release Headhunter in the coming weeks, keep an eye on your inbox for these opportunities and be among the first to apply.

How does Headhunter work?

When a job poster lists a new role on ClassCover Jobs, Headhunter springs into action. Job posters will be shown a list of teachers that could be a good fit for the role, based on information on your Teacher Profile like your location, experience and teaching preferences. From here, the job poster can choose to email you a copy of the job post and encourage you to apply.

Your personal information and attachements are hidden until you decide to apply for the job.

Do I need to use Headhunter?

No. If you don’t want your profile to be suggested to job posters, you can turn off Headhunter in your ClassCover Jobs settings. If you choose to do this, you will still be able to browse and apply for jobs as normal.

Headhunter is launching soon on ClassCover Jobs.
